Hiatus

There are several options for players to put their character on hiatus:

Autopilot: The character’s whereabouts will be handwaved for the hiatus period, with them going about business as usual. This option is only available for hiatuses that last up to 14 days.
Coma: A character’s neural network chip will malfunction, placing them in a coma. This option is available for hiatuses that last 15 days or longer.
Exploration: A character will choose to go outside the city limits, leading to them being gone for a longer period of time.

The latter two options may be eligible for metaplot information drops. Please keep in mind that plot drops should be disseminated within two weeks in order to spur game play. Indicate in your comment whether you are interested in your character obtaining information in this way.

Fill out the form below to place your character(s) on hiatus. Hiatus may be taken for up to 1 month out of every 3-month period. If this is split into multiple hiatuses, they should total no more than 30 days.

If during the AC period, you were on hiatus for more than 14 days, your requirements will be cut down to zero. A hiatus exemption may only be taken for one month out of every three.

If you have special circumstances and you feel you may need to take a longer hiatus, please contact the mods privately.
